BRG Group and SeABank Sign a Cooperation Agreement with Vietnam National University, Hanoi to Promote Science and Technology Development, Innovation and Knowledge Transfer

On September 19, BRG Group, Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank) and Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) signed a cooperation agreement to promote scientific research, technology application and transfer, innovation, and multidisciplinary knowledge exchange; as well as to develop high-quality human resources contributing to socio-economic growth, enhancing national competitiveness and advancing Vietnam’s sustainable and comprehensive integration into the global knowledge economy.

Representatives from BRG Group, SeABank and Vietnam National University, Hanoi sign the cooperation agreement.

This agreement aims to leverage the strengths and resources of all parties -particularly the intellect and dedication of VNU’s scientific community, combined with the practical experience and strong capabilities of BRG Group and SeABank to foster scientific and technological advancement and innovation.

The partnership seeks to position VNU as a leading multidisciplinary research and innovation university among the world’s top institutions; BRG Group as a leading national and internationally recognized economic group with sustainable growth; and SeABank as a top-tier retail bank in Vietnam, thereby contributing to Vietnam’s goal of becoming a high-income country by 2045.

The agreement will establish a solid foundation for nurturing outstanding scientists, world-class research groups and high-potential tech unicorns, based on the investment and development of shared laboratories and international collaborative research centers. This will further enhance the global reputation and standing of BRG Group, SeABank and Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

The signing ceremony reaffirmed the joint commitment of BRG Group, SeABank, and Vietnam National University, Hanoi to work together toward driving breakthroughs in science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation - the three key pillars identified as the main driving forces to propel Vietnam toward its aspirations of becoming a modern industrialized nation by 2030 and a developed, high-income country by 2045.
