BRG Group’s Chairwoman named for the second time “The Asia’s Most Powerful People in Golf”

On the evening of November 3, in Hoi An city (Quang Nam province), Madame Nguyen Thi Nga, Chairwoman of BRG Group has been named for the 2nd time as the “Asia’s Most Powerful People in Golf” at the 2022 Asia Golf Awards ceremony.

During the 14th Asia-Pacific Golf Summit (APGS) held from November 1-3 in Hoi An city (Quang Nam province), Madame Nguyen Thi Nga, Chairwoman of BRG Group, was once again honored as the “Asia’s Most Powerful People in Golf” in 2022, thanks to her great contributions to the development of golf in Vietnam as well as the vision and leading role of BRG Group in this sport.

This award is also dedicated to the right direction of BRG Group in order to reinforce the golf movement and to improve the quality of golf services in Vietnam.

As the leading golf developer and operator in Vietnam, BRG Group is committed to creating multiple high-end and unique products, such as the courses modeled by the two golf legends Nicklaus Design and Greg Norman. The group would also like to raise the quality of golf services to international standards in order to provide better experiences for all customers, improve the image of golf tourism, and ensure the sustainable development of this sport.

The Asian Golf Awards was founded in 2000 by the Asian Golf magazine and has since evolved into an annual event honoring the most outstanding contributions to the development of golf in Asia. This year, the candidates were selected in 40 different categories and awarded Gold, Silver, Bronze from several specialists in Asia.

Also as part of this ceremony, BRG Kings’ Island Golf Resort was also selected as one of the best courses in Vietnam. BRG Kings’ Island Golf Resort is a 55-hole complex, whose Kings Course was designed by Jack Nicklaus II, the eldest son of “Golden Bear” Jack Nicklaus. This course features Vietnam’s unique 19th hole, which brings unforgettable experiences to all players.

This is the first ceremony of this award after 3 years of restriction due to the pandemic. It is also the second time that Vietnam has hosted this event.
