With a development orientation that aligns with Thua Thien Hue’s strategy of promoting tourism along the Heritage Road and attracting international visitors, Golden Sands Golf Resort is expected to become a new high-end tourism product complementing the province’s existing heritage-based attractions.
The Golden Sands Golf Resort complex includes a 36-hole international golf course, supporting service areas, a clubhouse, technical infrastructure, villas, and hotels. The integrated resort - entertainment - sports complex is located along one of Thua Thien Hue’s most beautiful coastlines, in Vinh Xuan and Vinh Thanh communes, Phu Vang district, just 20 km east of the ancient imperial city of Hue.

Nestled amid stunning natural scenery, Golden Sands Golf Resort offers a challenging design for golf enthusiasts
The complex serves not only as a premier golf destination that attracts international visitors to Thua Thien Hue but also helps extend their stay - offering opportunities to experience the province’s rich culture, people, and cuisine, recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage site.
The centerpiece of the project, the Golden Sands Golf Course, was designed by Nicklaus Design - the world’s leading golf course design firm, and officially opened in September 2024. It has been dubbed “the most challenging golf course in Vietnam” with a total length of 7,519 yards from the farthest tees - requiring golfers to play at least ten strokes more than at any other course in the country.
Golden Sands Golf Resort provides Thua Thien Hue with a new luxury tourism product that attracts golfers from across Vietnam and around the world, contributing to the growth of tourism and the socio-economic development of both the province and the nation as a whole.
