Hanoi, January 15 — The Hanoi People’s Committee convened a conference to meet and commend outstanding enterprises operating in the Capital, honoring their exceptional contributions in 2025.

At this significant event, Madame Nguyen Thi Nga, Chairwoman of BRG Group and Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Private Business Association, delivered a keynote address, underscoring the Group’s strategic vision and steadfast commitment to Hanoi’s sustainable development journey.

The Conference was a significant political event, which launched Hanoi’s 2026 socio-economic development campaign and set the stage for building a civilised, modern, and leading economic hub.

At the Conference, city Leaders recognised and highly appreciated the business community’s remarkable resilience. Despite challenges, Hanoi’s enterprises maintained stable operations, safeguarded employment, and contributed substantially to the state budget.

These collective efforts propelled Hanoi to an impressive GRDP growth rate of 8.16% in 2025, with state budget revenue hitting a record high of over VND 711 trillion.

She particularly commended the effective rollout of the “Green Channel” mechanism and “Paperless – Contactless” administrative model, which have slashed processing times by 30–60%, alleviating administrative bottlenecks and enabling enterprises to optimise resources and enhance operational efficiency.

Aligning with Hanoi’s “High Speed – High Quality – Smart – Sustainable” development model, Chairwoman Nga affirmed BRG Group’s determination to realise the North Hanoi Smart City Project as Vietnam’s first carbon-neutral urban area. This initiative embodies the vision of a green, intelligent, and world-class living environment for the region.
