Job Description:
• Plan, direct or coordinate the operations of Housekeeping, Resident Services, Security and Engineering Depts;
• Establish and implement department policies, goals and procedures;
• Assist with operational budgets to improve profitability;
• Manage quality assurance for guest supplies;
• Determine staffing requirements, interview, hire and oversee the training of new employees;
• Oversee activities directly related to providing services to the guests;
• Ensure the decisions of the General Manager are carried out;
• Oversee the Breakfast Operations; check the menus and make recommendations to the provider to ensure food quality and service are maintained;
• Supervise renovations and furnishings;
• Carry out regular inspections of the property and set target dates for rectification of defects;
• Ensure compliance with licensing agreements with authorities;
• Make sure residents have the best experience during their stay;
• Inspect apartments prior to check in.
• Deal with any complaints guests may have about their stay; speak with guests about issues they may have and work with them toward the best resolution to the problem for both parties;
• Work directly with staff, motivating them to do the best job possible and provide great guest service to guests;
• Oversee facilities maintenance planning, scheduling and control;
• Assure safety and security procedures are adhered to.
