Technology Cooperation – The Key to Business Success in the Rising Era

13 October 2025

As the world enters an era of rapid digital transformation, technology is no longer an option but a decisive factor for every business.

In Vietnam, enterprises – recognized as the core driving force of the national economy – are facing both golden opportunities and historic challenges. According to Mrs. Nguyễn Thị Nga, Chairwoman of BRG Group, Founding Chairwoman of SeABank, and Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Private Entrepreneurs, technology cooperation is the decisive strategy for businesses to rise and achieve breakthrough success in the new era.

Technology as the Competitive Edge

Vietnam has set ambitious goals for its private sector. Resolution No. 68/NQ-CP of the Politburo identifies the private economy as the most important driver and pioneering force in national economic development, science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation.

Earlier, Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo clearly defined science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation as pillars of sustainable economic growth, emphasizing that enterprises are one of the two main centers and key subjects - both as resources and as driving forces for development.

These landmark policies have opened new opportunities for businesses to thrive in the digital transformation and global integration era, where technology plays a central role.
Mrs. Nguyen Thi Nga stated: “In a world where technology is reshaping every aspect of our lives - from how we live and work to how we entertain and connect - owning, mastering, or effectively cooperating to harness technology will be the key competitive advantage for any enterprise, and broadly, for a nation.”
Investment strategies focused on technology development have proven effective in many countries. For example, Dubai - once known primarily as a city of commerce and tourism - has transformed into a global hub for technology and innovation by actively promoting artificial intelligence (AI), Web3, and blockchain through collaborations with leading global enterprises.

Technology Cooperation - BRG Group’s Breakthrough Strategy
Under the leadership of Mrs. Nguyễn Thị Nga, BRG Group has affirmed its position as one of Vietnam’s leading multi-sector service conglomerates, operating across various fields such as smart urban development, golf course management, hospitality, retail, and manufacturing.

Throughout its more than 30 years of development, BRG Group has consistently identified multi-sector cooperation with global corporations and renowned domestic and international brands - particularly in technology - as a long-term breakthrough strategy to create new milestones and elevate Vietnamese enterprises on the global economic map.

Recently, the Group and SeABank signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) - the country’s leading academic and research institution - to foster scientific research, technology application, and transfer. The partnership aims to enhance competitiveness and contribute to Vietnam’s rapid, sustainable development and deeper integration into the global knowledge economy.

By leveraging the strengths of all three parties - BRG Group and SeABank’s practical experience and resources, along with VNU’s intellectual capital and scientific expertise - the agreement establishes a solid foundation for nurturing outstanding scientists, advanced research teams, and future tech unicorns. Joint laboratories and international research centers will be developed, enhancing the reputation and influence of BRG Group, SeABank, and VNU globally.

Earlier, BRG Group also began construction of the North Hanoi Smart City, in cooperation with Sumitomo Group (Japan) - one of the world’s leading corporations in smart urban development. The project aims to build the first carbon-neutral, sustainable smart city in Vietnam and one of the first in the world, improving quality of life for residents and bringing the finest global innovations to Vietnam. It will also serve as a hub for innovation, where cutting-edge technologies are researched and applied in practice.

Going Together to Go Further
Beyond her efforts to develop BRG Group, Mrs. Nguyễn Thị Nga also plays an important role in connecting the national business community as the Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Private Entrepreneurs.

She hopes Vietnamese businesses will not only strengthen cooperation in traditional fields but also prioritize investment, research, and technology sharing to build a common foundation for the community to advance together in this era of deep globalization.

At the same time, BRG Group affirms its commitment to accompanying other enterprises, sharing resources, experiences, and international cooperation opportunities across sectors for mutual growth. The Group will continue focusing on expanding partnerships in science, technology, digital transformation, and innovation - creating a comprehensive development ecosystem that enhances the competitiveness of the Vietnamese business community.

The digital era is not a distant concept - it is unfolding every day, in every business, every industry, and every city across the country. For Vietnamese enterprises to truly rise, they must recognize that technology is no longer optional - it is a prerequisite. Technology cooperation is the key to unlocking the door to integration and strong development.

“I believe that when businesses harness the power of technology cooperation, we will not only succeed domestically and contribute to socio-economic growth but also reach out to the world - asserting the position and identity of Vietnamese enterprises on the global economic map,” concluded Mrs. Nguyễn Thị Nga.
