Job summary:
- Planning & Design Manager has overall responsibilities for the implementation of the overall project development from pre-development, conceptual, design development, construction and post development stages.
- Responsible for overall master planning, design parameter and compliances, follow up on any authority’s submission and approval matters.
- Responsible for overall design development related to development concept, material specifications, design review and optimization. PM is also responsible for managing the engineering consultant’s procurement, design development billing stage and performance evaluation.
- Responsible for overall implementation of construction and post construction stage. Ensuring that the projects are implemented and delivered as per design, construction drawing, specifications, contract requirements.
- Planning & Design Manager is also responsible to keep tract the overall design development and construction progress billing stage completion and to attend to any respective Authorities’ meeting and inspection.
- Take charge on all Authorities related matters such as submission, meeting and inspection during pre-development, construction and post construction stages.
- All relevant policies, procedures and practices as defined the QMS are to be implemented in the department by this designation.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall project’s implementation in accordance as per the design, construction drawings, specifications and contractual requirements.
- Over-seeing master implementation schedule and overall design development activities ensuring the project is on schedule and complied with the design, specifications and Project Owner requirements.
- Responsible to evaluate and keep tract the progress billing stage completion for both design development and construction progress.
- Take charge on liaison with respective authorities related matter such as planning task, submission, follow up on approval process, meeting and approval.
- To attend the Management meeting, Authorities meeting and also to chair for client-consultant meeting, construction implementation and control meeting.
- Review and justify on Variation Order (if any)
- To liaise with other heads of department such as contractual matter, approval status and future development.
- To liaise with Architect and Consultants on technical matter in relation to constructions works
- Participating in manpower planning, functional, KPI’s, interview and recruitment
- Review shortlist of Consultants of particular discipline to be invited to submit their services, financial proposal and recommend the consultants for engagement
- To review the development’s concept with respective consultants.
- To ensure review and design optimization objectives are achieved
- Any other duty that may be assigned time to time by Management
Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture/Civil Engineering/Mechanical or Electrical engineering/Project management or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in Property development or related fields
- Have well experience in overall project management and be familiar with the whole process of project development, design and construction. The experience working both in Consultant and Developer is preferred
- Familiar with relevant policies and requirements of township development, and have experience in independently leading the construction of new township
- Understand relevant policies and regulations of the construction industry in Vietnam
- Master the professional knowledge of engineering practices, construction technical standards and specifications, and be able to solve technical quality problems. Familiar with project planning and schedule control, cost control and quality control.
- Have excellent leadership skills and able to supervise the project progress and motivate the team
- Working location will be determined as per project sites.
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD…
