BRG Group chairwoman Nguyen Thi Nga, honoured in the list of Asia’s most powerful people in golf at the annual Asia Pacific Golf Summit (APGS) in 2018, plays an important role in promoting the development of golf tourism with an optimistic and forward-thinking view of the tourism industry as a whole.

Over 12 successful seasons, members of the Organising Board of the charity golf tournament Swing for Kids have witnessed hundreds of happy handshakes and enthusiastic contributions from golfers and sponsors. It is difficult to express the full meaning of these collaborations, but it can be seen through the thousands of aspirational students who have been able to realise the dream of going to school thanks to this voluntary and meaningful event.

The charity golf tournament tees off at noon today at the Mountainview and Kings Course of BRG Kings Island Golf Resort in Dong Mo, Son Tay district, Hanoi, with the awards ceremony to be held in the evening to recognize outstanding players.

Steve Melnikoff, one of the oldest living veterans of World War II showed his great golf skills and strength by finishing 18-holes at BRG Da Nang Golf Resort. Receiving and invitation by Vietnam Tourism Ambassador Greg Norman on the road to celebrate Steve Melnikoff’s 100th birthday with playing Top 100 golf courses around the world by Golf.com, Steve Melnikoff was extremely impressed with the first masterpiece of the golf legend White Shark in Vietnam.

Now in its third year the BRG Golf Hanoi Festival is recognized as a major event for international and domestic golfers. And the Golf Festival’s popularity has put a spotlight on BRG Group as a pioneer in Asian golf.
